"excellent" is stretching it... but yes. it's taken A LOT of practice. angela and pillz still give me shit about not being able to make instant noodles using the microwave. but i mean... come on... who uses the microwave to make instant noodles??

and yes, i am the girl who used to drive our home ec teacher NUTS and pushed her into stress attacks because i didn't know what i was doing in the kitchen... or on the sewing machine (still don't).

yes. angela and i made devil curry using 30 dried chillies (that's what the recipe said!) and cried while trying to eat it. one hand spooning curry into our mouths, the other holding tissue. my mum thought we were insane.

yes. i have burnt chicken soup so badly that it left an inch of charred muck at the bottom of the pot. shut up, jin min.

and yes... i have witnessed exploding eggs in the microwave.

i better go check on the pork trotters now...
